Search for firefox previous versions, scroll down, and download 50.1.0 and install it. This a problem caused by upgrade to Firefox 51.0.1 on XP systems using Norton security, that I know of. To do this: Click the Extract tab at the top of the window. Tasmkanager will use mush CPU, and shutdown can take MINUTES, cleaning up the tasks unless your system already crashed.
